4. Data Security
Our Commitment to Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, encryption of the credentials we hold for you, and access controls. The measures below are the ones we actually apply.
4.1 Technical Measures
- Encryption in Transit: TLS (HTTPS) for our website, console and API
- Encrypted Credentials: credentials we hold for you — storage secret keys, container registry passwords and virtual machine console passwords — and our own infrastructure credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are stored. We do not promise encryption at rest for other data you store with us (for example database contents, files and disks); encrypt sensitive data yourself where you need that.
- No Passwords: you sign in with an emailed link or Google, so we hold no account password for you; API tokens are stored only as a one-way hash
- Access Controls: role-based access within each organisation (owner, admin, member, viewer), checked on every request
- Network Security: our infrastructure's management interfaces are reachable only over a private network
4.2 Organizational Measures
- Employee training on data protection
- Strict access policies and need-to-know basis
- Confidentiality agreements with employees and contractors
- Incident response procedures
4.3 Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours via email and prominent notice on the Platform, as required by applicable law.
4.4 No Guarantee
While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
