Domains & DNS

Bring a domain you already own, delegate it to our nameservers, and manage its records here. Registration itself stays with your registrar.

Adding a domain

  1. In the console, Domains → Add domain, enter the name.
  2. At your registrar, set the domain's nameservers to the two shown on the domain's page.
  3. The platform checks the delegation (live DNS first, registry data as a fallback) and marks the domain active once at least one of our nameservers is in use.

Nameserver changes take from minutes to a day to propagate, depending on the registrar. A partial change — one of our nameservers alongside an old one — is accepted, so you can migrate gradually.

Records

Supported types: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SRV, CAA and PTR. Each is validated before it is saved — an A record must be an IPv4 address, an SRV record must have priority, weight, port and target — and the reason is shown when it is not.

Pointing a hostname at an app

Add the hostname as a custom domain on the app, then create a CNAME record here with the target the app shows. If the zone is hosted with us, both steps are in the same console.
