Billing
Prepaid and hourly, in Kwacha. There are no subscriptions, no invoices to chase, and no foreign-currency card required.
How charges work
Each organisation has a balance. Every resource has an hourly price (see pricing), and each hour it exists that price is deducted. A stopped database or VM is charged for its storage only. A deleted resource stops costing anything from that hour.
Adding funds
Under Billing → Top up:
- Mobile money — MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money or Zamtel Kwacha. Enter the number in any usual form (
097…,+260 97…); you approve a prompt on the handset and the balance updates when the operator confirms. - Card — through a hosted payment page.
- Coupon — a code redeemed for balance.
A payment is credited only once the provider confirms it over a verified channel — never on the browser redirect alone. If a payment shows as pending, it is still being confirmed; contact support if it stays that way.
Running low, and running out
You are warned as the balance falls. At zero, creating new resources is refused and existing ones may be suspended — stopped, with data kept. Top up to resume; nothing is deleted for running out of balance.
Who can manage billing
Owners and admins top up and manage payment details. Members and viewers can see the balance but cannot spend the organisation's money.
